James Hetfield - James Hetfield James Hetfield derives his fame from being co-founder, lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the band Metallica; indeed, whenever describing Metallica, most people base their comments and definitions upon Hetfield and his distinctive vocal stylings and muscular, high-energy musicianship. James was born on the 3rd of August, 1963, in the City of Downey, County of Los Angeles, California. Many aspects of Hetfield's childhood were difficult. His father (a truck driver) and mother (a light opera singer) were devout and strict adherents to Christian Science, and accordingly, much of Hetfield's young life revolved around religion. In accordance with their beliefs, Hetfield's parents strongly disapproved of medicine and remained vigilant in their faith even as Hetfield's mother began to die of cancer. The death of Hetfield's.

Dave Mustaine - join Metallica, serving as lead guitarist for two years before being fired in April of 1983 for his drug use and personality clashes with founding members Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield. Mustaine returned to Los Angeles after departing Metallica and formed the heavy metal group Megadeth with bassist David Ellefson. Mustaine was the group's primary lyricist. While the band began to achieve some success, Mustaine's drug problems deepened as he became addicted to heroin. In 1988, Mustaine co-produced the album Refuge Denied for the band Sanctuary After an impaired driving arrest in 1990, he entered a 12 step recovery program, and has reportedly remained clean and sober since; he married in 1991, and became a father in '92. Also in 1992, he served as a most unlikely correspondent to the Democratic.

St. Anger - the album, which began in 2002. Many factors contributed to this delay, the two most important being the departure of bassist Jason Newsted, and because of the amount of time spent by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield in rehab. Jason Newsted cited several reasons for his leaving the band, the most important being Hetfield questioning his loyalty to the band, due to his participation in other bands. Producer Bob Rock played bass for the recording of the album, and a permanent replacement has since been found—Rob Trujillo, formerly of Suicidal Tendencies and Ozzy Osbourne's band. Jason Newsted has now become Ozzy Osbourne's new bass player. A limited edition of the album also contained a DVD of the band performing the album live. Overkill - closer for a while), and later Iron Maiden and Riot, as well as a smattering of punk covers, which were played with extra distortion, intensity, and concentration on riffs, thus marking Overkill as the first thrash band. In 1981, Dan Spitz (later of Anthrax) left the band and Rich Conte entered, along with Bobby G. At this point, they started writing originals, including "Grave Robbers" (later renamed to "Raise the Dead"), "Overkill", and "Unleash the Beast Within". This is the first thrash metal original, predating James Hetfield and Hugh Tanner's "Hit the Lights" by several months. More originals would follow, including "Death Rider" (1981) and "Rotten to the Core" (1982) - somewhere around this time Rich left and Bobby remained the sole guitarist. The band became a staple at New York.
Master of Puppets - a cult, and "Orion", the hunter of Greek myth, was killed by Artemis after he became her follower. "Damage Inc.", the album's final track, is a call of non-conformity, to cut the strings of the puppet master. The album's cover gives hint to some of the threads of the album. The cover shows a veteran's cemetery, with crosses as grave stones; which draws to mind both the dead soldiers of "Disposable Heroes", and the followers of the corrupt preacher of "Leper Messiah"; attached by puppet strings to a pair of controlling hands above. Les Claypool - on the Lollapalooza tour that year. 1994 saw the release of Riddles Are Abound Tonight (under the name Sausage), a reunion of the original Primus lineup (Claypool-Huth-Lane). Tales From The Punchbowl was released in 1995, scoring a hit with the western-flavored Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. Alexander left the band in 1996; he was replaced by Brian Mantia of Praxis and Buckethead. Claypool released the album Highball with the Devil that year under the name Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel. 1997's Brown Album was a departure from "original" Primus, with a blander production and spacier, more experimental songs. (Interestingly, Tom Waits names it as his favorite Primus album, though some fans openly hated it). The cover album Rhinoplasty was released in 1998, and in 1999, Primus' latest album, Antipop, was released..

King James Only Movement - King James Only Movement The King James Only Movement is a movement within Protestant fundamentalist Christianity which rejects all modern translations of the Bible, and accepts only the King James Version (KJV). This position is most prevalent within the Independent Baptist branch of the Baptist movement. The rejection is based in part on the different texts which were used to translate the different translations of the Bible. Most modern translations are translated from the Alexandrian manuscripts, while the King James Version was translated from the Textus Receptus, or Received Text. There are variations within the King James Only Movement. For example, the late John R. Rice, who published The Sword of the Lord, took a position that only the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts are inspired scripture,.
