Don Redman - Don Redman Don Redman (1900 - 1964) was a jazz musician, arranger, and composer. Donald Matthew Redman was born in Piedmont, West Virginia on July 29, 1900. His father was a music teacher, and by age 12 he was proficient on wind instruments ranging from trumpet to oboe as well as piano. He studied at the Boston Conservatory, then joined Billy Page's Broadway Syncopaters in New York City. In 1923 Don Redman joined the Fletcher Henderson orchestra, mostly playing clarinet and saxophones. He soon began assisting Henderson in writing arrangements, and Henderson and Redman did much to formulate the sound that was to become big band swing. In 1927 Redman joined the Detroit, Michigan based band McKinney's Cotton Pickers, who he played with and arranged for through.

KRS One - featured Channel Live on the track "Free Mumia" as well as Mad Lion, Busta Rhymes, Das EFX and Fat Joe. Sursprisingly enough, 1997's "I Got Next" included a remix of the new hit "Step into a World" (with a sample from Blondie's "Rapture") by commercial rap icon Puff Daddy. "Hearbeat", featuring Angie Martinez and Redman, was based on the old school classic "Feel the Heartbeat" by the Treacherous Three. After many BDP albums and the solo albums, Jive Records decided to drop KRS, and his 2001 album was released on Koch. In 2002, he released a gospel-rap album, Spirtual Minded, surprising many longtime fans since he had once criticized Christianity as being a "slavemaster religion" which blacks should not follow. Discography Criminal Minded (1987)(with BDP) By All Means Necessary (1988)(with BDP).

Henry Chichele - the same day gave him the right to hold all his benfices with the bishopric. At Siena in July 1408 he and Sir John Cheyne, as English envoys, were received by Gregory XII with special honor, and Bishop Repingdon of Lincoln, ex-Wyciffite, was one of the new batch of cardinals created on September 18, 1408, most of Gregory's cardinals having deserted him. These, together with Benedict's revolting cardinals, summoned a general council at Pisa. In November 1408 Chicheley was back at Westminster, when Henry IV received the cardinal archbishop of Bordeaux and determined to support the cardlinals at Pisa against both popes. In January 1409 Chicheley was named with Bishop Hallum of Salisbury and the prior of Canterbury to represent the Southern Convocation at the council, which opened on March 25.
Hip hop rivalries - and Eminem's rivalry is not known for certain. MTV claimed it began after Ja Rule and his label head, Irv Gotti, were involved in a physical altercation with 50 Cent. 50 Cent reportedly took out a restraining order against Gotti, and several other performers have attacked him for "snitching" as a result. After Ja Rule insulted Eminem in a song, he responded on a mixtape by DJ Kay Slay with a freestyle collaboration with 50 Cent. "Irv Gotti, too much Bacardi in his body/You ain't a killer, you a pussy/ That ecstasy got you all emotional and mushy/Bitches wearing rags in photos/Ja's word being quoted/In The Source, stealing Pac's shit like he just wrote it" to the beat of Tupac's "Hail Mary". Eminem also appeared on a DJ Green Lantern mixtape,.
George Henry Thomas - Grant left the Army of the Potomac to take command in person. Before either arrived, Thomas made his attack on December 15, 1864, and the Battle of Nashville was the most crushing defeat of any army on either side in the whole war. Hood's army was completely ruined and never again appeared on the field. For this brilliant victory Thomas was made a major-general in the regular army and received the thanks of Congress. After the end of the Civil War, Thomas commanded military departments in Kentucky and Tennessee until 1869, when he was ordered to command the division of the Pacific with headquarters at San Francisco. He died there of apoplexy, while writing an answer to an article criticizing his military career, on the 28th of March 1870. Thomas' Legacy.
Grand Prix motorcycle racing - The circuit is perhaps most closely followed in Spain and Italy, home of many of the more successful riders at the moment. Compared to Formula One car racing, as many riders are competing on near-identical bikes, and trailing riders usually have an aerodynamic advantage over the leaders, the racing is usually close and entertaining, with much overtaking. Rider ability (though this includes the ability to figure out which suspension and tyre choices are appropriate for the conditions) is usually the determining factor in races and world championships. Notable riders of the past include: Giacomo Agostini Michael Doohan Mike Hailwood Libero Liberati Jim Redman John Surtees Jock Taylor Toni Mang Wayne Rainey Some of the more successful of the present riders include: Max Biaggi Valentino Rossi Kenny Roberts Garry McCoy Steve Jenkner.

Telly Monster - been known to uncontrollably pogo stick around Sesame Street, often causing havoc with all that gets in his way. This episode is one of the ones shown on Sesame Street Unpaved. His first appearance on Sesame Street, after the Television Monster stint, was with guest star Joshua Redman playing the violin, while Telly played his tuba. Telly is puppeteered by Muppeteer Martin P. Robinson. There is rumor he was named after film and television star Telly Savalas, though this is untrue; his name uses the British slang for a television, telly..
