Arachnid Solitaire - Arachnid Solitaire Arachnid Solitaire is a form of computerised solitaire card game for a single player. It came by its name because it uses a double deck of Anglo-American playing cards and hence has eight suits to work with. Arachnid is an extremely tricky game to complete successfully because a suit must be entirely completed before it is moved off the array, and there is not a lot of room to manouevre. Additional points are gained for keeping completed suits in play until all eight are complete. To make things easier for the novice player, the game offers an unlimited 'cheat mode' where moves can be undone right back to the beginning of the game, a partial cheatmode where moves can only be undone to the last.

Solitaire - Solitaire Solitaire refers to a family of single-player card games of a generally similar character, but varying greatly in detail. (The term "Patience" is more commonly used in British English; while Solitaire means peg solitaire.) These games typically involve dealing cards from a shuffled deck into a prescribed arrangement on a tabletop, from which the player attempts to reorder the deck by suit and rank through a series of moves transferring cards from one place to another under prescribed restrictions. Solitaire has its own terminology; see solitaire terminology. There are many different solitaire games, but the term "Solitaire" is often used to refer specifically to the most well-known form of the game, properly called "Klondike". Klondike and some other solitaire games have been adapted into two-player.

Here is a partial list. Foundations Most Solitaire games feature Foundations - the aim of these games is to clear the Tableau and move all the cards to the Foundations. Usually they are built up by suit from Ace to King, but some games have different rules. Usually only thirteen cards are allowed in each foundation. Tableau The Main area of play, the tableau consists of a number of piles of cards where cards can be moved from one area to another, under varying rules. Some allow stacks of cards which match the building requirements.

Dominoes - (or, All Fives or Five Up) Points are earned when a player plays a bone with the result that the count (the sum of all open ends) is a multiple of five. The points earned are equal to the sum of the ends. Therefore, if in the course of play a player plays a bone that makes the sum of the ends 5, 10, 15 or 20, the player scores that number. All pips on a crosswise doublet are included in the count. Each player takes five bones (four players) or seven bones (two players). If the leader plays the 6-4, 5-5, 5-0, 4-1, or 3-2, the count is evenly divisible by five and so the player scores. If, later, the ends before play are 2 and 4, the next player.
