Bambuti mythology
Bambuti mythology is referring to the mythology of the African Bambuti Pygmies (also: Mbuti Pygmies, Ba Mbuti).The Bambuti have a deity attributed to animals, who has created the world of humans and animals and supplies them to the hunters.
The Bambuti pygmies believe also in a being of a sky, and a Creator as an old man with a long beard. The pygmies also revere the moon, attributed to creating the first man.
The dominant Bambuti belief is the benevolent god of the forest.
