Campaign

A campaign is an organized effort. There are several common types of campaigns.

• Political campaigns are efforts to attract political supporters and reach a certain goal (like banning genetically modified organisms).
• Election campaigns are political campaigns specifically geared toward attracting voters and winning an election.
• Military campaigns are organized movements of troops during times of war. A campaign usually consists of a connected string of battles.
