Edwinstowe

Edwinstowe is a village in north Nottinghamshire, England. Its name means Edwin's resting place because King (Saint) Edwin of Northumbria's body was hidden in the church after he was killed in a battle near Doncaster. References to Edwinstowe can be found in the Domesday Book.
