Front de Libération Nationale

The National Liberation Front (French: Front de Libération Nationale, Arabic: Jabha al Tahrir al Watani) is a socialist political party in Algeria. It received 34.3% of the vote in the 2002 elections and has 199 members of parliament.

The party is led by General Secretary Ali Benflis.

It set up on November 1, 1954 as a merger of other smaller groups, to obtain independence for Algeria from France.
