Sammy Cahn

Sammy Cahn (June 18, 1913 - January 15, 1993) was a songwriter and musician, playing the piano and violin.

He was born Samuel Cohen in New York City. He died in Los Angeles, California, of heart-related problems. He was married at least twice; first to Gloria Delson in 1945, and later to Virginia Basile in 1970.

He composed many songs, including the Oscar award-winning "Three Coins in a Fountain", written for a Frank Sinatra movie.
