Sèvres

Sèvres is a commune of the Hauts-de-Seine département in France. It is a suburb of Paris.

The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (International Bureau of Weights and Measures) in Sèvres keeps the standard kilogram, atomic clocks, and other metrological devices.
