Slatina, Romania

Slatina is a town in Olt county , Romania on river Olt. The town is first mentioned in a document in 1368 when a custom point was here installed. The town has given important cuture men , among them Eugen Ionescu famous writer and Ion Minulescu known symbolist poet. The most important industry is the aluminium industry one of the biggest factory in south estern Europe.
