Thai aircraft carrier Chakri Nareubet

The Chakri Nareubet is Thailand's first and only aircraft carrier. Is is based on Spain's Principe de Asturias carrier and was built in Spain in from 1994-1996. It was delivered to Thailand in 1997.

The ship has largely remained inactive due to a shortage of funds following the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
