Ukrainian SSR

The Ukrainian SSR was a constituent republic of the Soviet Union since the USSR was formed in 1922, and was internationally recognised as an independent state in its own right (having a seat in the United Nations) after the World War II. It declared independence in 1991 as Ukraine.
