Vermeer Quartet

The Vermeer Quartet is a string quartet founded in 1969 at the Marlboro Festival in Vermont.

Its members are:

  • Shmuel Ashkenasi, violin
  • Mathias Tacke, violin
  • Richard Young, viola
  • Marc Johnson, cello
